Management System

To be able to meet our required high standards, Buksér og Berging has developed a Quality and Safety Management system (QSM), which complies with the requirements in Norsk Standard NS-ISO 9001. In 2002, the Company was ISM (International Safety Management) certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV). This confirms that our QSM system and operational procedures comply with the standard of the ISM Code.

Through the Company's Operation Manuals, the policy and objectives of Buksér og Berging are implemented onboard our vessels. The Operating Manuals contain detailed descriptions of safe and effective operations, while taking into consideration the crew's health as well as environmental protection.

BB is qualified in the Achilles Joint Qualification System for suppliers to the oil industry in Europe. The qualification relates to the product and service categories Tugs/ROV Support, Crane Barges, Barges, Salvage Services and Rental of Equipment. www.achilles.com
