In Buksér og Berging we have our own internal comprehensive training programme called the “BB School” (BB Skolen), designed to develop and maintain the specialized skills required onboard our fleet.
The programme includes:
- Ship manoeuvring and regular onboard drills in simulators for ASD tugs
- Bridge Resource Management (BRM) and communication training
- BB’s onboard leadership programme
- Emergency preparedness and the management of marine emergencies
- Safety management and HSE standards based on our Operational Procedure Handbook, which standardizes all operations for our entire fleet
- Training in HSE systems and procedures to strengthen a safety-first culture
- Best-practice rigging and operation of towing gear
The «BB School» is managed by our Crew department with contribution from internal resources and external partners.
